01.

10,000 Female Farmers Trained

10,000 rural women farmers trained in Kano and Jigawa for improved local chicken production where we introduced animal health services at community level to support the farmers and uptake the chickens from the women for processing and selling at high end markets. Supported by Propcom Maikarfi project.

02.

7,000 Poultry Kit Supplied

We supplied 7000 women with poultry starter kits in Borno and Adamawa as part of insurgency recovery where we set-up a hatching facilities in four locations (2 in Adamawa, 2 in Borno) using solar equipments for sustainability . The project was handled by CRS funded by EU/GIZ

03.

WINNN 1,600 Farmers Support

We supported Save the children nutrition project with technical assistance for WINNN project were we reached 1,600 farmers.

04.

7,300 Goats Supplied To 7 LGAs

We supplied 7300 goats to 7 LGA kwara state Government with farmers groups under Fadama-Cares project.

05.

1,620 Traders Trained

⁠We trained 1620 petty traders on entrepreneurship skills and secured a financial support from the government of Jigawa state under NG-Cares project.

06.

500 Rice Farmers Trained

⁠We trained 500 rice farmers for system of rice intensification (SRI) by using organic manure from poultry and solar pumps for irrigation to improve productivity and reduce GHG emissions while reducing production cost. Supported by Links funded by UK-Aid

07.

57 Animal Health Professionals Trained

We trained 57 community animal health professionals in Kano and Adamawa states to services Rural farmers in the area of animal health services to strengthen diary sector in Nigeria for ALDDN project in partnership with Livestock 247 funded by BMGF

08.

Services For Over 30,000 Rural Farmers

⁠TPS has worked with 30,000 rural farmers (50% women) in the area of animal health where we trained 400 animal heath service providers and linked them up to the farmers to ensure disease prevention and improve quality of life for their livestock, in this line we invested in deploying 13 Solar Direct Drive Refrigeration System to strengthen the quality of vaccines to ensure quality, availability and efficiency plus affordability of the rural farmers, this is achieved using the last mile delivery model we adopted and made us to be in 11 locations now.

5000 Female Farmers trained

⁠TPS has build capacity of 5000 rural women farmers in goats and poultry production and uptake the livestock for processing at a processing plant to reach high end market while the farmers gets premium price.

150 Goats Supplied For ICHSSA-3
